HTS Nano-Ceramics, Ltd
| Location: | NY, US | | Speaker: | Anatoly Rokhvarger, PhD & D.Sc. | | Primary Industry: | electrical energy transmission and application | | Executive Summary: | HTS Nano-Ceramics, Ltd. was created in April 2005 to commercialize our innovation: Cost-effective Nanofabrication of 3-G Superconducting Ceramic Wire and Other Leads. We nanofabricated and tested at Polytechnic University, NY 3-G High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) strands that are as flexible and durable as copper wire and transmits 100x more electrical power than copper wire. The Cost/Performance ratio or C/P of 3-G HTS wire is about 5x less than the C/P of copper wire and about 25x less than the C/P of 1-G and 2-G HTS tapes. Then we validated our achievements with three groups of experts, in six publications, and at six meeting presentations at American Ceramic, Materials Research, and Chemical and Mechanical Engineering Societies. We are seeking either licensing and/or investment. $2.3MM to $6.6MM would fund a project to demonstrate reel-to-reel prototype-line nanofabrication of prototypes of 3-G HTS round wire of any length. About $50MM would fund manufacturing of 15,000km/year of 3-G HTS wire, which would annually provide: a gross margin $0.8 billion; $0.6 billion net income; and investors will get investment returns of 700%. |
