Title:
electron-stabilized Nanoscale water clusters for Clean Combustion
Primary Industry:
Energy
Executive Summary:
Liquid water is comprised of symmetrical clusters with a diameter of one nanometer. These clusters form and break apart at a rate of a billion times per second. The addition of electrons increases the cluster lifetime by a factor of one thousand and increase the catalytic properties of the nanoclusters during combustion. Diesel engine efficiency has been increased by 15% while at the same time reducing soot to non-detectable levels. The target market is retrofitting existing fleets to garner CO2, PM and NOx trading credits.
