Anchor Science LLC
| Location: | Connecticut, US | | Speaker: | Ewa Kirkor | | Title: | Dr. | | Primary Industry: | Nano- Bio- Technology | | Executive Summary: | Anchor Science LLC demonstrated feasibility of conductivity enhancement on coatings of carbon nanotubes with the enhancement factor as high as thirty in comparison to as-deposited material.
Organized in 2005, Anchor Science is enabled by virtual collaboration of the Members leveraging technological resources of their geographic locations: New England, Austin, Texas, and Urbana-Champaign, Illinois. R&D laboratory operates in Connecticut.
Market survey indicates wide interest in printed conductive coatings. Licensing of conductivity enhancement process invented by the Members while employed by the UIUC is being negotiated. This technology relates to conductivity enhancement of carbon conductive ink, specifically prototyping biological nanosensors. We are promoting Anchor’s technology through targeted information campaign aimed to secure seed capital. Financing for product development is pursued through SBIR and STTR routes. With seed funding, we will add management accomplished at bridging emergent with existing technologies to achieve investment and return reflecting the product potential and market valuation. We envision responsive, scalable system of operations, supply chain, marketing, sales and distribution. To grow the business we’ll enter alliances and partnerships leveraging complementary technologies. Preliminary targets: 1. Printable circuitry, 2. Nanodevice fabrication, 3. Metabolite sensor markets, e.g. glucose, 4. Athletes/training informatics. | | Venture is: | Seed Level |
