NanoCell Systems
| Location: | Connecticut, US | | Speaker: | Peter Strutt | | Title: | President | | Primary Industry: | Energy | | Executive Summary: | A wide range of consumer products require long lasting, cheaper portable power for power tools, cell phones, PDA’s, digital cameras, games and portable computers. This trend places a high demand on battery technology that is struggling to keep up. A more cost effective power source is clearly required which does not need frequent recharging or replacement. Our environmentally friendly fuel cell will eliminate the time-loss and cost of frequent recharging, and reduce the weight, inefficiency and waste intrinsic to batteries.
NanoCell Systems’ technology is achieved by a paradigm shift in manufacturing nanostructured materials and fabricating miniaturized fuel cells. This methodology ensures optimized performance, previously unattainable in solid oxide fuel cell power units. These units are capable of delivering power in the 10 to 100 W range with a 10 fold increase in time between recharging, compared with today’s rechargeable batteries. In entering the marketplace, the opportunity thus created is realized when noting that sales for rechargeable batteries & power packs in 2007 are projected to exceed $6 billion. This spans an ever increasing range of products and personnel devices created by the “digital tidal wave”, which is sustained irrespective of domestic or international events and economic conditions.
