Executive Summary:	BioMimetic Systems specializes in cutting edge sensor technology that focuses on acoustics for military, industrial, and medical applications. The core of BioMimetic Systems is centered around medical technology founded on decades of university research from Boston University’s Hearing Research Center studying human and animal hearing. The Biomimetic technology is different from traditional acoustic processing in its use of neural circuits and algorithms that approach old problems in new ways to identify and localize sounds. The technology is being applied to cochlear implant and hearing aid design in the medical field; to vehicle and personnel tracking and counter sniper measures in the military and civilian police market, as well as to tool and machine monitoring for industrial applications.
