Executive Summary:	Ten percent of all U.S. hospital beds are located in intensive care units (ICU). The hectic ICU environment is further complicated by an abundance of unconnected, functionally independent computerized machines, mass quantities of paper, manually recorded data, and an inefficient use of high cost labor. To help overcome this, ICU DataSystems has developed a patient monitoring technology that integrates data from separate medical monitoring devices, providing ICU physicians with secure, real-time access to clinical information.
