Executive Summary:Lovalite is a start-up created in 2004. The company exploits an exclusive licence from a patented technology originating from Université de Technologie de Troyes (UTT) and Université de Haute Alsace (UHA) . A polymer tip is developed at the end of a single mode fibre. The tip size is either micrometric (used as a microlens or a mode transformer), either nanometric (used as a near field optical probe). Lovalite is a Member of NEMO: European Network of Micro Optics, Lovalite is a Member of Mona: Merging Optics and Nanotechnology. Our aim is to be the largest provider of consumable on the market of near field microscopy. We also foresee research and licencing actions on the photonic market and on niche applications for sensors.
