University of Hawaii’s Office of Technology Transfer and Economic Development
The University of Hawaii’s Office of Technology Transfer and
Economic Development (OTTED) manages, markets and promotes the
commercialization of University of Hawaii (UH) inventions. OTTED manages
the patents and intellectual property related to UH inventions, and
markets these inventions, with the goal of securing license deals and
spinning off start up companies. OTTED also works closely with business
and government leaders to promote business and economic development in
Hawaii.
