The SOMS Filter extends engine oil life up to 30,000 miles, resulting in significant operating savings, reduced wear, and improved fuel efficiency as well as the environmental benefits from decreased petroleum consumption and hazardous waste.
The filter has been validated through extensive on-road and laboratory testing. The Company also has a shared research contract with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority to expand development activities.
The Company works with outsourced manufacturing partners and the SOMS filter is ready for commercial production. The product catalogue covers most light vehicles and is expanding for medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
Commercialization of the SOMS filter focuses on the vehicle fleet market. Initial distributors have been engaged and commercial sales will begin Q2 2008.
