The unit is very small and light, it can easily be mounted anywhere on the skin of the user via a solution developed in cooperation with the 3M Company and made especially for this sensor. Several units can be use at the same time, synchronizing pulses between them ensure corresponding data intervals and that more units can be used synchronous and analysed in the same 3D model. This unit is new to the world, never before have people been able to accurately monitor motion anywhere without the need for wires, integrated suits or video cameras. This unit weights approximately 1 ounce depending upon application and has a battery capacity of up 30 hours and the included 2 GB MicroSD card can contain all of the datamaterial recorded in this period. All captured motion data can be viewed in the open source 3D dataformat C3D, which all of the leading motion analysis and 3D programs are able to read and animate for indepth data analysis.
