The Mission:
The mission of the company is to create a technological platform for very rapid, cost-effective, disposable, stand-alone on the spot testing. In the first stage we intend to produce MEMS diagnostic chip for blood banks to type and crossmatch blood, a test performed more than 750 million times a year, globally. This chip and hand-held reader is intended to replace the slow, expensive systems, requiring much resources and reagents, which are used by current blood banks.
