This is the first bilateral research program created between the India Global Innovation and Technology Alliance and the technology strategy board, UK. Both organizations work on behalf of their respective governments. This recent collaboration announcement is part of a larger program: The India-UK Collaborative Industrial R&D Program was created about five years ago with the goal to develop innovative products and services that bring economic and social benefits.
