Terepec and IMEC To Collaborate on Flexible Electronics

Company and Research Organization Will Focus on Novel Packaging Technologies

The catalyst for this research relationship is a next generation wireless ECG system, developed in the Human++ Program at Holst Centre in The Netherlands. Flexible applications, such on-the-body devices, need to be thin and flexible to optimize performance and to create comfort for the user. Terepac has a patented photochemical printing process that can be placed on flexible substrates quickly and with high accuracies. IMEC is a leading nanotechnology research center in Europe, and has a Body Area Network research department that will work with Terepac on developing the novel wireless ECG system.
