Bing Energy and Florida State University (FSU) To Develop Next Generation Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Through nanotechnology, hydrogen fuel cells to be created smaller, lighter, and less expensive
Working with buckypaper, Dr. Jim Zhang of FSU designed a novel thin membrane that decreases the amount of expensive platinum needed for fuel cell production. Bing Energy, a California company that produces advanced components for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells, believes that Dr. Zhang’s technology will make the fuel cell possible for mass market use in transportation and power generation. Bing plans to begin production this March.
