Motorola Creates World’s Thinnest Smart Phone

New phone is only 7.1 mm-thick, and includes a nano-enabled water resistant coating.

Motorola’s Droid Razr measures just 4.3 inches, and includes a Gorilla Glass screen, Kevlar back, and better battery life than current phones on the Verizon network. While the price point is much higher than similar phones on the market ($299 vs $199 US), Motorola believes the Droid Razr’s superior battery life and ability to download HD movies will lure customers to this latest phone. Motorola’s original RAZR phone was revolutionary back in 2004-2005, but increased competition and Motorola’s perceived drag on innovating its phone technology led to other devices taking over their market share within a few years.
