This comprehensive discovery of the design rules for nanomaterials was recently published and was funded by the National Science Foundation. A set of rules for consistently arranging nanoparticles is critical for the scientific community so that they can fully capitalize on nanotechnology’s potential in various materials applications for industries ranging from medicine to energy.
