Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Aerospace Division Announces $1 Billion Contract with Boeing

Mubadala's aerospace division will build carbon-composite structures for the industry giant

Boeing notes this agreement is the first direct outsourcing deal to the Middle East for production of advanced composites. Over the next ten years, Mubadala Aeropsace will produce these strengthening components for the tail section of Boeing's 777 mini-jumbo jet and new 787 Dreamliner passenger plane. Mubadala, which is owned by the UAE government, has a goal of becoming one of the top suppliers in the world for the aerospace industry.
