Angstron Materials to Bring More than Two Dozen Nanotech Jobs to Ohio by 2011

Company Is Leader in Nano Carbon Materials Innovation and Manufacturing

Angstron Materials plans to invest $400,000 in equipment to expand its manufacturing capabilities, and the city of Dayton, OH, US, will provide a $100,000 grant to support the company’s infrastructure expansion. The company’s unique NGPs have a wide range of industrial applications, including the areas of alternative energy (fuel cells), environmental (water filtration), automotive, and aerospace.

Angstron is a spin-out from Nanotek Instruments, and has received research grants from the DoE, NSF, and SBIR. Angstron Materials was selected to present at the 2009 TechConnect Summit, which was held May 4-7, in Houston, TX.
