Committee to be co-chaired by Professors from Harvard University, US and the Library of Alexandria, Egypt

The Advisory Committee has been formed to help move the continent from resource-based to innovation-based economic growth.  The eight-person Committee will also guide the AU on how best to roll out Africa’s Science and Technology Consolidated Plan of Action (CPA), which was created and endorsed over six years ago.  The CPA is an adopted framework for the continent focused on advancing science, technology and innovation through cultivating human resources and infrastructure, as well as developing cluster research and development programs.
