TechConnect and CTSI Announce i2i Awardees at SXSW Eco

All finalists to present their innovations at SXSW ECO, October 3-5, 2012, Austin, TX, US

TechConnect, in partnership with SXSW Eco and the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI), have announced their 2012 Innovation to Inspiration - i2i Awards winners.  The i2i Awardees were selected from over 150 global applicants spanning energy, water and environmental solutions, seeking out unique innovations that have the largest potential positive impact on our planet and society. 

“We have an amazing set of innovations to present here in Austin at SXSW Eco this year,” said Matthew Laudon, CEO of TechConnect.  “The Innovation to Inspiration i2i Awards looks beyond the business pitch model, and instead focuses on how these innovations can make a positive impact on our planet and society.  The result is that we have over 20 highly-vetted socially and environmentally responsible companies from three continents all coming to Austin to look for development and investment partners.”

The i2i Awards program takes place on Friday, October 5th and will consist of a very fast paced pitch session, with each company presenting their business and technology offering, followed immediately by a 30 second video clip that focuses on the inspirational impact of their innovation on our planet and society.
