STMicroelectronics (ST) to use bTendo's IP to enhance its video-sharing technology offerings
ST first collaborated with bTendo to create MEMS-based projectors using bTendo’s Scanning Laser Projection engine. The prototype created by both companies resulted in a much smaller form that used less power, ideal for portable electronics, including cell phones and digital cameras. Embedded projectors will soon become the next generation feature for consumer devices and open up new markets.
