Hundreds of Innovators to Showcase Technologies to Military and Corporate Leadership
The Defense Innovation Technology Acceleration Challenges (DITAC 2015), taking place December 1-3 at the JW Marriott in Austin TX, brings the Nation’s largest technology prospecting program to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for National Security needs. DITAC 2015 is co-located with the 3rd Annual Defense Energy Summit and SBIR/STTR Innovation Summit.
DITAC 2015 is a summit that connects the world’s top vetted technologies with DOD aligned problem-sets. Over one thousand innovations were submitted into the DITAC 2015 Innovation Challenge programs across Energy, Cyber, Materials, Systems, and Medical sectors. Over 250 vetted technologies will showcase their innovations during this program, with approximately 100 innovators pitching their solutions to government agency, industry and investment leadership.
The Defense Innovation Challenges are produced by TechConnect in partnership with the National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL), who has recently been awarded a $100M Funding Authority from the DOD IACs. This authority is a rapid prototype funding authority for state-of-the-art resilience technologies aligned with national security needs.
The Challenges bring together the private-sector and defense innovation communities to accelerate state-of-the-art technologies into the hands of warfighter through dual-use government and industry commercialization opportunities. “We have an amazing group of technologies showcasing to a powerful consolidation of military, government and industry leadership at the Summit, creating the nation’s premier Defense Innovation program,” notes Dr. Matthew Laudon, CEO of TechConnect.
